- 80% of all troop meetings, PLC meetings, outings, fundraisers, and service projects. If your attendance is below the standard, you can be removed from office and/or lose credit.
Responsibilities
- Create a vision of success for the troop and organize the troop towards accomplishing it
- Run all troop meetings, events, activities, and the annual program planning conference
- Run the PLC meetings and Annual Planning
- Appoint other troop youth leaders with the advice and counsel of the Scoutmaster
- Assign duties and responsibilities to youth leaders
- Ensure that other youth leaders have the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to succeed
- Assist the Scoutmaster with youth leader training
- The buck stops here. Responsible for the troop and the scouts in it
- Live by the Scout Oath and Law
- Set a good example by showing Scout spirit and wearing the uniform correctly
