Scouting Events

In Scouting, things like troop meetings, campouts, service projects, and patrol activities are collectively referred to as the “program”.

Troop/Patrol meetings are the glue of the Scouting program. The typical meetings are every Monday night at 7-8:30pm.

We have weekend camping trips once a month, September through June.

The troop attends a scouting summer camp for one week each July.

High Adventure trips are longer trips that are geared towards more experienced Scouts. They’re typically a week or more, and are held in August. These trips will be more challenging and adventurous than the weekend camping trips.

A Court of Honor is a special event that’s held to celebrate the achievements of the scouts. We typically have 3 Courts of Honor per year. Parents and friends of Scouts can attend these events to show their support.
