Eagle Court of Honor (ECOH)
Earning the rank of Eagle Scout is a major milestone, and the Eagle Court of Honor (ECOH) is your chance to celebrate it with family, friends, and fellow Scouts. Each ceremony is a unique event, planned and arranged by you and your family, with assistance from the troop.

Date and Location
Section titled “Date and Location”The ECOH can be at any time and location preferred by the scout, but they’re typically held on a Saturday or Sunday during the daytime. Combining with a regular troop COH is possible, but it is strongly encouraged that you plan a standalone ceremony and make it your own. Your Life to Eagle Coordinator can help you book time at the VFW if needed.
Medicine Bag
Section titled “Medicine Bag”The Medicine Bag is a Troop 1607 tradition where each Eagle Scout adds a “medicine”, symbolic of a lesson learned in Scouting, to the troop’s “medicine bag”. You should prepare your item and a short speech explaining what it is and why. Include a label or tag on the item with your name, the year, and the explanation.
